Panther Showdown Fundraiser

The Panther Showdown event will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This exciting and family-friendly event features SSI staff taking on students in a basketball game, along with a fun halftime show and more! Sponsored by SSI Home & School, all proceeds from the event will benefit SSI students and staff.

WHAT: Teacher vs Student Basketball Game | Raffle | Concessions

Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Sponsored by SSI Home & School - all proceeds benefit the staff and students of SSI
The school is coordinating the student team. All students will receive information on how to sign up for a chance to be on the team. There is no cost to participate.

WHEN:

Fundraising runs Friday October 31st through Sunday November 16th.
The Panther Showdown event is Thursday, November 13th, 6:00-8:00 PM. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

WHERE: SSI Gymnasium

WHO: All SSI students and their families, Hamilton district school students and families.

WHY: To raise money for educational experiences and supplies for all students attending SSI.

EVENT DETAILS: Wristbands are required to enter the gym to watch the game. Space in the gym is limited, so buy your wristbands early.

Concessions and Raffle will be outside the gym in the cafeteria.
Reminder to bring cash if you would like to participate in the 50/50 raffle or punch cup game.
You don't want to miss our mascot race or toss the dot game!

We are asking for gift card or monetary donations for the raffle trees to be raffled off at the event on November 16th. Each house is assigned a theme with corresponding gift card locations. The Raffle Tree Committee will be creating trees with each theme to showcase the donations to be raffled off at the event. Please use the link below to find your child’s house & sign up to donate if you are able. Students can give donations to their teachers. Many thanks in advance for donating to this fun event!
